The warp on the scarf is red, and the weft is green. It changes color as you move. LUV! I learned this knot from une Femme!
The tags were still on the jacket - $189 new! It's velvety like corduroy, but without the "lines" of corduroy, if that makes any sense. It's a lovely dark brown and warm enough with a sweater under to forego a coat in this nice weather -- it is in the 40's.
Ugh, bad hair day. Could it please grow faster?
I snapped that pic myself, but it was dark by the time I got home, so these next pics are terrible. Yes, I know, need to find the cam battery charger, what else is new? Perhaps I'll buy a new one for myself for Giftmas.
Observations: bad hair, love this jacket, love this scarf, not a fan of these jeans but they are okay with the jacket. I don't usually wear my belt exposed so that was interesting and I think flattering. I think it looks odd to be bundled up on top but have bare skin on my feet, so perhaps a different shoe next time?
Ooooh! Gorgeous scarf! I wonder if Mom wears the one I got her in Bankok
ReplyDeleteIt is very delicate and I'm sure I'll ruin it soon because I'm a clutz. Anything I don't damage in wearing, Hubby damages in washing! BTW he shrunk the hat that you said made my head look like a penis. Dammit. That thing was over thirty bucks!
ReplyDeleteGood thrifting. It's amazing the finds we can discover.
ReplyDeleteLove that scarf!! I'm going to have to learn how to do knots like that, very cool. What a great color that sweater is - gorgeous!
