Cycling downhill.

Ever ridden your bike downhill?  It is an easy coast at first, but before you know it, it can get out of control.  Slowing the descent is hard, as is stopping and working your way back up the hill.

Regular readers (of whom there are few) know that I have a mood disorder.  I am headed downhill right now, and will be making some adjustments to try to ride it out as constructively as possible.  Extra rest, downsizing my activities and obligations, and shortening my work days are some ways to compensate but mostly it just takes a little time and the knowledge that no downhill route goes on forever.

So I may not be here much, but I will be back shortly.
