Hubby has us on a very aggressive plan to be debt free (including cars and student loans, but minus the mortgage) in 5 1/2 years. But I have a few debts that are "mine and mine alone". Today I made arrangements for the final two payments on 2 small credit cards. Yay me! I struggle with money management - even communicating about money - so this is a big thing for me. Next step, to cut up those cards, since I have a tendency to pay em off, then run em up again.
I have my budget done out till next fall, and I will have my last credit card paid off in March and a small student loan paid off by June. Then I will feel good funding my Roth IRA.
