"Lessons Learned"

I've been blogging for a while and kind of tapered off because 1) I felt like I had learned a majority of what I set out to learn, and 2) I didn't want to feel pressure to acquire more/newer stuff to keep it interesting.

Jodi just posted a great summary of her overall lessons learned.  Mine are basically the opposite of hers, which makes sense because our figures are basically opposites!

Here are mine...

I LOOK & FEEL GOOD WHEN I WEAR:
  • skirts below the knee
  • wider cut pants
  • baggy loose flowing tops and t-shirts
  • blouses with shirt collars
  • 3/4 sleeves
  • cardigans
  • scarves
  • square necklines, not-too deep v-necks
  • low heels or flats
  • matchy matchy
  • drop sleeves or bat arms
  • actual real underwear, not fragments of underwear!
  • dangly earrings and necklaces and big tacky rings
  • modest

I LOOK and/or FEEL STUPID WHEN I WEAR:
  • high waisted skirts (flare, or pencil)
  • low waisted jeans
  • skirts above the knee
  • most belts
  • bracelets
  • mandarin collars
  • cap sleeves or sleeveless (like tank tops)
  • crew necks
  • heels over a couple inches

  1. I'm glad you figured out the riddle of what to wear. We all struggle with that. Like you, I've found blogging to be helpful in the process.

If you're achieved this goal, maybe you could expand your blog to include other subjects, like culture, art and whatever else appeals to you.
