I don't make New Year's resolutions, but I do make birthday goals. And one of my goals (whether I mentioned it or not earlier) was recording an album this year.
I'll be posting songs to my SoundCloud account as I figure out which songs will be on the album. I write a lot, but they're not all album worthy so I am trying to be selective.
I plan to release it (be it full length album or EP) my next birthday. So.... there's that. My most embarrassing goal of the year. I don't know why it's so hard to discuss openly. Probably because my family tends to be *brutally* critical, and not at all encouraging.
Do you have any unusual goals for the year? Do you make resolutions or annual goals of some kind? When you make goals, do you share them or keep them private?
And yes, I picked up the other two pears but I haven't hung them yet. They also have an apple I can't decide if I want or not. If they still have it on payday next week I will count it as "meant to be" and buy it.
Wow- great song! I think it's a wonderful goal because it will make you happy while you're accomplishing it.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like it! Hoping to get another posted by this time next week. Making music has been such a joy to me over the past year. I'm so glad that was my goal for my 36th year, because it has rewarded me over and over.
